Therapy is licensed clinical care for psychological conditions, focused on understanding and reflection over time. Inner Cartography is depth coaching for high-functioning leaders who want to look honestly at how they live. It is more practical, more direct, and more focused on what changes by the next week. The two can run in parallel. Many of the people Iván works with keep their therapist.

Most leadership coaching is about fixing the symptom: frameworks, plans, accountability. Inner Cartography is the opposite. It looks at what's underneath the patterns rather than trying to optimize them. People who have worked with multiple coaches usually notice the difference within the first session.

Mentoring gives you advice from someone who has done what you want to do. Inner Cartography looks at why you want it in the first place, and what the part of you that's chasing it actually needs. The two are not in conflict. Many of the people Iván works with also have mentors.

It depends on current availability. The application form is the first step. If there is a fit and an opening exists, Iván reaches out personally for a thirty-minute conversation. When there isn't an opening, he says so directly and adds you to a short list for when something opens up.

Iván spends most of his time between Argentina, the United States, and Europe. The standard six-month engagement runs entirely over video.
